Great Career Opportunity for a Business Development Manager

As one of the nation’s largest commercial concrete contractors, The ConcoCompanies are looking to enhance our Southern California growth strategy with the addition of a Business Development Manager.  We have an impressive portfolio that includes projects ranging from $1 million to $150 million in both the private sector and public works.  In addition Conco’s reputation for high-quality concrete construction allows us to become a select trade partner for many of our clients.  Our expertise includes handling projects from the pre-construction phase all the way through to a successful finish.

The objective of the new manager will be to lead business development efforts in Southern California.  He/she will coordinate the preconstruction phase and target various markets including High Rise, Mid Rise, Podiums, Parking Structures, Stadiums, Health Care, Education, Commercial and Retail Spaces, Hospitality, and other select markets as assigned.  The position will be used as a way to champion our firm’s exceptional services and to bring new business opportunities into the company. 

  

Some of the responsibilities of this exciting new position includes: promoting the services of Conco to customers as well as to decision makers within the construction industry; and to identify and assist in developing strategies to ensure our success with potential business opportunities.  Also the Business Development Manager will seek out business opportunities including turnkey packages and special projects.  The majority of their time will be spent making contacts with developers, general contractors, architects, and engineers.  

Qualifications include excellent organizational and presentation skills, strong technical skill regarding the concrete industry, and knowledgeable in A/E/C/ industry terminology and delivery methods.  Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of experience in the concrete construction industry.  Please see our website for the complete job description, responsibilities, and qualifications.
