North and South Parking Structures at The Gallery at Central Park

The Conco Companies were awarded the concrete contract for the parking structure for two apartment buildings in a mixed residential project in Santa Clara, CA. The Gallery at Central Park apartments are being developed and built on part of a 27+ acre site that was once a medical campus.   In addition to the two apartment buildings that will have a total of 525 units, the site will include 260 single family homes and townhouses.  The entire project is expected to be finished by 2018.

Conco completed a six-story cast-in-place parking structure with 520 parking spaces to accommodate the residents of the 266-unit North apartment, now called the Hearth in May 2014.  In the course of the project, we placed 211,571 sq. ft. of concrete using 9,500 cu yd of concrete and 275,000 pounds of reinforcing steel.

At the 259-unit South apartment building Conco is providing concrete services for a five story cast-in-place parking structure with 474 spaces. During the job, Conco will place 173,278 sq. ft. of concrete using 8,000 cu yd of concrete and 287,000 pounds of reinforcing steel.

The Hearth was opened for occupancy in November, 2014 and incorporates leading edge Green Point Rated building standards.  Each unit is perfectly climate controlled and designed with comfort and conscience. High-end finishes are found throughout the units with real wood plank flooring, quartz countertops with almost zero maintenance, and oversized windows with beautiful views.   Amenities include a yoga studio, theater room, rooftop deck and pool, secure bike storage and a pet spa.

Conco is a leading supplier of concrete services with four regional offices to serve California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Colorado.  We got our start in the Bay Area in 1959 by offering clients the best value on a wide range of concrete services and products.  Since that time, we have taken a leading role as one of the top concrete contractors in the region.
